What do you mean what is this? Obviously it's a place in the shrine where your humble self can ask the magnificent Sohma Ayame questions! From love advice to simple "I just wanted to know..." questions, he'll answer them all! (Considering he has time in between bonding with his younger brother Yuki and making clothing for men's desires!)

SO, I CAN ONLY ASK AYAME?
No, but you should be honoured to even have the chance to ask Ayame a question at all! Truth be told however, you can ask a variety of the cast of Fruits Basket any question your little heart desires.

WHERE ARE THE QUESTIONS ANSWERED?

OMG! I ASKED A QUESTION LAST WEEK/LAST YEAR/TWO MONTHS AGO/ETC, WHY ISN'T IT POSTED YET?
As I said, Ayame is a very, very busy man. He answers the questions when he has time to. Same goes with the other cast members. You wouldn't want Tohru or Yuki or Kyou flunking out of school because they spent all their time answering your questions would you?

Same goes for if your question just doesn't get answered. It's nothing personal, but Ayame and everyone doesn't have the time to answer every single question that pops in the mail box. Rest assured they read every single one, they only choose a select amount to post on the website. To improve your chances of having your question asked think of something really original ;) Repeat questions are less likely to make it on the website, so read the previous questions before you ask ;). You never know your questions may already be answered!

On another note-- during the move of the shrine, I lost a lot of questions that had been asked, it was nothing personal, just a technical error. Feel free to resubmit your questions :)
