ANIME
The series is twenty-six episodes, and four DVDs. They're available in most stores that carry anime, or illegally downloadable on most file sharing programs. Online I've found it cheapest at amazon.com. The volumes are available here: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR. Or in a boxset, HERE. The anime series has ended although there are rumours currently circulating that there will be a second season, or at least an OAV series release. None of these rumours have yet to be confirmed from anything credible out of Japan, little less North America. Sadly, it seems the animation ends here, before the introduction of the horse and the rooster, which is common with most series that get picked up long before the series is even close to finishing. On the positive note the manga is still ongoing to this date and doesn't seem to be slowing down yet.
